MEET THE 2026 TEAM
We are a team of students from various study programmes at the HAN, united by a shared passion for motorsport. From management to engineering, every decision and every role within the team is handled by students. Together we maintain, fix, and improve our rally car to compete in the Dutch Rally Championship.
Equipe
Driver: Gábor Szakács
Navigator: Max Riesebos
The Equipe is the backbone of our performance, taking our hard work out of the garage and straight onto the rally stage. While the Driver pushes the car to its limits, the Navigator is right by his side to keep them on the road with his pace notes. To be able to perform to their best abilities, they need to not only trust the car but each other. As engineers, they also offer critical insights into the running of the car during rallies. By staying in touch with our Chief Technician, they are the first responders to possible issues!

As HART's pit crew, the Service Team ensures that our car stays in peak condition during events. They are skilled in rapid repairs and adjustments between stages, while also being able to execute maintenance under tight deadlines to keep us in the race. Outside of the service park, they spend countless hours in the garage prepping the car beforehand to ensure that it is reliable at every stage.

Our Board is responsible for overseeing the team and keeping us on track. They manage the budget, coordinate the subteams, run the team meetings, and ensure a smooth operation all-around. Without them, the team would not be what it is today.

Poly/Exterior

Our Poly/Exterior team is responsible for everything on the outside of the car. They handle a wide variety of work, whether it is repairing body panel damage, designing and manufacturing custom parts, or even fabricating components from composite materials to improve the car.
Subaru
Head of Team Subaru: Núria Valero
As our newest team(department), they make sure that our Subaru is engineered and ready to drive for upcoming challenges. They bring a fresh energy in to the team by, for instance, prepping the car for upcoming R&D projects and integrating it for the powertrain minor together with the HAN.
R&D
